Thomas De La Cruz is the founder and managing director of Vantom Consulting, and a visionary leader dedicated to guiding businesses of all sizes towards success. While Vantom assists businesses of all scales, Thomas’s passion lies in helping small business owners reach their dreams.
Outside of work, Thomas is a devoted family man, married to his high school sweetheart, Vanessa. They share two children, both avid basketball players. Thomas enjoys supporting them on the court.
Thomas’s journey to success was fueled by his passion for music. In college, his saxophone skills earned him a scholarship, making him the first college graduate in his family. When not working or with his family, Thomas finds solace in playing and listening to music.

As a first generation Mexican American, Thomas De La Cruz, CPA, embarked on an academic journey fueled by curiosity and ambition, graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University’s Greehey School of Business with dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. His dedication to academic excellence led to his induction into Beta Gamma Sigma—an exclusive international honor society recognizing the top 10% of students at AACSB accredited institutions.
Thomas continued to excel, earning a Master of Accountancy from The University of Texas at San Antonio’s Alvarez College of Business. There too he was recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma for his academic performance.
