Robert is a highly accomplished finance professional with a strong academic background and diverse work experience. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Southern New Hampshire University.

He possesses excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with experience in monitoring competitors’ financial state, leading financial reporting, stewardship of operating expenses, and analyzing company metrics.

As an FP&A Manager for XTO, he led financial reporting, saving time through streamlined processes. Managing six direct reports, he oversaw significant financial volumes. As a Senior Financial Analyst, he improved productivity and accuracy in reporting, presenting crucial data directly to the Controller. At the Beaumont Refinery, Robert managed operating expenses and maintained communication with business leaders while developing complex Excel tools for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

As the FP&A Manager at SNAP FINANCE, Robert Zinda served as the right-hand to the CFO, spearheading key financial initiatives. Noteworthy accomplishments include presenting a $2 billion budgeted forecast and a 3-year forecast to the executive team. He also developed a financial model for forecasting a $100 million loan business. Robert’s strategic insights were demonstrated through monitoring 30 public competitors’ financial standings and presenting competitor landscapes quarterly to the CFO and executive team. United States Army
During his tenure in the United States Army, Robert Zinda demonstrated notable achievements. As Lead Trainer in North Carolina, he significantly improved the training pass rate from 34% to an impressive 90%, achieved through dedicated mentorship and supervision of new recruits, alongside conducting pertinent training sessions with the 75th Ranger Regiment.
In Afghanistan, serving as an EOD Team Leader, Robert ensured the safety of over 200 individuals across multiple countries, while also enhancing local threat awareness through comprehensive briefings. His leadership was further evident in successfully procuring essential equipment for the Afghanistan National Army, subsequently decreasing the likelihood of unintended explosive detonations during missions.
Lastly, Robert’s selection into the elite unit supporting the US Army Rangers at the EOD School in Florida, where he graduated as one of only three students from a highly challenging military program, underscores his exceptional capabilities and commitment to mission success.
